First impressions count, so in tune with the first part of our attempt to accumulate 100,000 Twitter followers in a month, we are going to first start by changing our Twitter background and layout so that it is both unique and attractive.

Are you being treated unfairly because of your Twitter background? Are you not getting as many visitors as you would like because you look like just another one of those plain marketers around the block?

Your Custom Twitter Background

It is best that you choose to use a Twitter background that's unique to you, and which is designed based on your personal branding and image. A good layout would be simple, clean and attractive, while still maintaining the qualities of design unique to your site and business.

There are various ways to create your own custom Twitter background. If you are planning to do it yourself using Photoshop, then it would be ideal for you to use a canvas size of 1600 x 1200 pixels for your background image.
